Default options for new projects

If so desired, the default options for new projects can be changed per system installation. One can even make these changes once and then store the new default settings on a network drive and point all CASCON installations to that location for all these CASCON installations to use the same (modified) default settings.

After installing the CASCON software the default options for new projects (UUTs) are stored in two files at ..\CAS4WIN\Sys\Misc\NEW_UUT.*  (the actual installation directory for the CASCON software may be different on your machine, depending on which folder you chose during installation). 

The Misc directory can be located somewhere on the network for other CASCON installations to share. (It is important then to copy all the needed files to that location, as one can specify only one location for the Misc folder per CASCON installation).
