Floating License Provider Switch
For various reasons, we have switched from Flexera to Thales as our server license provider in 2024.
Support for FlexNet and FlexLM will end with CASCON versions released in Nov 2027 or after.
- All CASCON versions through v4.12 will continue to support FlexLM / FlexNet.
- CASCON version 4.13 (scheduled for release around November 2027) and later versions will support Thales licensing only.
- Thales Sentinel floating licenses are supported starting with CASCON version 4.8.
- Thales Sentinel Triad Server licensing requires CASCON 4.11 or newer.
